My professional interest is environment conservation. Recently I worked with the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Agriculture Development as an Assistant Wildlife Officer. My main task is to look after the native wildlife of Kiritimati island. Not only that but also to conduct birds and marine turtle surveys and monitoring on the island.

I am also responsible for public awareness programs with the schools and with the community of Kiritimati island on environment-related matters.

Enforcing the Wildlife Conservation Ordinance Cap 100 and the Environment Act 2007 is also one of my priorities.
