Norihiko YAMANO, Directorate for Science, Technology and Industry, OECDMr. Yamano is responsible for the current edition of the OECD's
Input-Output database. He has previously worked at the Central Research
Institute of Electric Power Industry, Japan as a research economist, where
he developed various types of economic models using originally developed
regional public capital stock, labor force statistics, and inter-regional
IO tables. He has also served as an external consultant on many projects
involving the use of economic, energy and demographic forecasting models.
The latest set of
OECD Input-Output Tables consists of 44 countries with data for years around 2005 (see country and sector coverage).
