Dr Joy Murray

Joy Murray is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Sydney, and a member of the Integrated Sustainability Analysis research group.

She gained her PhD "A Cybernetic View of Teacher Learning" from the University of Wollongong in 2003. She joined ISA the same year as manager of a two-year action research project working with representatives from business and industry, government and non-government organisations to develop a user-friendly software tool driven by the ISA TBL methodology..

In a previous life she was the New South Wales manager of the state government�s IT training strategy for teachers. She has over 20 years of project management experience for the NSW Department of Education and Training including eight years as the manager of the training component of the NSW State Government's 1995-2003 technology strategy, winning state and federal awards for the teacher development program TILT (Technology in Learning and Teaching)..

Dr Murray has co-edited three books for ISA.

She has also authored or co-authored numerous articles and reports.
